WEST ORANGE, NJ – Edison Middle School Central Sixth held an informative Open House on Nov. 11 for fourth and fifth grade families. The goal of the program was to inform parents and future sixth graders of what to expect upon entering the school.

A slideshow of Edison events and students played as families entered the auditorium. Next, Principal Xavier Fitzgerald and Assistant Principal Steve Melendez provided a brief overview of the school’s curriculum including a brief discussion of the new honors program, and the guidance department.

The Edison Singers performed, “The Star Spangled Banner” and “The Symphony of the Night,” which demonstrated the work of the departments.
