LIVINGSTON, NJ — In partnership with RWJBarnabas Health, the West Essex YMCA is sponsoring a team for the American Heart Association Walk.

On Oct. 22, hundreds of people will walk at the Turtle Back Zoo and South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange with the mission of conquering heart disease. Supporters are invited to either walk one or three miles on that day, or pledge for someone else who walks.

Those who are not able to attend the walk on Oct. 22 are invited to participate in a Healthy Heart Charity Event at the West Essex Y on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
