WEST ORANGE, NJ - New Jersey Arts Incubator at OSPAC Executive Director Susan Anderson announced on March 11 that Jim Luce has been named the Creative Producer for the 2014 music season.

Luce is a veteran music project producer who has distributed broadcast projects worldwide and is currently the Artistic Director of the Caramoor Jazz Festival in Katonah, New York. Luce is a Grammy-nominated producer and Peabody Award-winning radio producer for jazz radio station WBGO in Newark.

Luce said, "Live music has been a vital part of the human spiritual experience since the hand first hit the drum,” says Luce.  “To be a musician of the world stage, it takes raw talent, determination, inspiration, decades of practice, setbacks and more determination, wisdom and attitude and an ability to transmit emotion and beauty. I had that in mind when we conceived the festival of world music we’ve prepared for NJAI@OSPAC 2014. This Summer, NJAI@OSPAC promises a choice selection of masters from the worlds of jazz, pop, classical, Indian classical and new music - accompanied by a parade of delicious food options."
