WEST ORANGE, NJ – JCC MetroWest is thrilled to announce Jon Rudnitsky, cast member of Saturday Night Live will be hosting our L’Dor V’Dor Gala taking place at Crystal Plaza, 6:30 p.m. on June 23, 2016.

Jon is the grandson of Marilyn and Lester Bornstein, two of our distinguished gala honorees.  “We are thrilled that Jon has offered to emcee the Gala and we are looking forward to a wonderful evening celebrating our deserving honorees and the great work the JCC does for the MetroWest community” says Dolly Luwisch, event chair.

The 2016 JCC MetroWest L’Dor V’Dor Gala honorees include, Ameila and Cory Perlstein of Livingston, NJ, Flo Peck of blessed memory and Family of Montville, NJ and Marilyn and Lester Bornstein of West Orange, NJ.

Millburn's Peter Serruto Drafted by Cincinnati Reds

MILLBURN, NJ - Peter Serruto, who just completed his senior season at Millburn High School, was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 22d round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft on Wednesday.

Serruto was the 649th pick overall.

The 6-foot, 190-pound right-handed batter has been a defensive standout since he first suited up in a Millburn uniform as a freshman.
