WEST ORANGE, NJ - Kessler Foundation (KesslerFoundation.org) was named one of the Best U.S. Nonprofit Organizations to Work for by The NonProfit Times and Best Companies Group, as well as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ in the medium category (15-249 employees).

Kessler Foundation is the largest nonprofit in the field of disability research and employment. Kessler is nationally and internationally recognized for its rehabilitation research, and they continue to develop new strategies to rehabilitate individuals with stroke, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions. Kessler Foundation has also distributed nearly $27 million to non-profits and social enterprises that create or promote disability employment opportunities. Foundation funding has helped place more than 3,000 individuals with disabilities in N.J. in job training or employment.

Kessler was evaluated for leadership, corporate culture and employee engagement and satisfaction to achieve their prestigious status. Kessler is profiled in the April 1, 2013 issue of The NonProfit Times.

Since 2005, the NJBIZ award honors the top places of employment in N.J. that benefit the state's economy, its workforce and businesses. Criteria included company workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics and an employee survey to measure the employee experience.
