WEST ORANGE, NJ — The ins and outs of LinkedIn was the central topic of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce’s (WOCC) recent Biz 2.0 Lunch and Learn networking event at Luna Stage in West Orange, where Julbert Abraham, managing partner at AGM, served as the guest speaker. The event was sponsored by Arnon Amir, president of Growth Point Business Consulting.
After networking over lunch, nearly two-dozen WOCC members—including bankers, financial advertisers, not-for-profits, health professionals, attorneys, authors and more—learned about the many ways they can use LinkedIn for their businesses through a presentation from Abraham, otherwise known as “The LinkedIn Guy.”
"It was a wonderful turn out of business professionals to the LinkedIn workshop," said John Mitrano, customer service officer of Tech Designo in West Orange. "The speaker, Julbert Abraham, was quite informative and provided attendees with an enormous amount of valuable information regarding the importance of the LinkedIn platform for professionals, as well as what you can do with it that can help improve connections for your business, locally or worldwide."
Mitrano also expressed that he was looking forward to the next WOCC event, slated for May. For updates on upcoming events, join the West Orange Chamber of Commerce email list.
Ari Kreith, incoming artistic director for Luna Stage, announced that “The Man in Room 306,” a play about the last night Dr. Martin Luther King spent alone in his hotel room, the morning before his assassination, is now playing until May 13.
"The Man in Room 306 is a critically acclaimed, intimate, and human portrait of Dr. King: a fictional glimpse into the private passions and fears of an incredible man during an extraordinary time," the flyer states.
Kreith also announced other upcoming shows for the season, which can be found at www.lunastage.org.
