“This is a great way to get an introduction to Meadowbrook and for you and your children to tour camp,” said owner Jed Buck. “Come see our beautiful 50-acre facility and learn about our exciting programs. Meet our on-site Owners/Directors and Large Leadership Team and bring friends.”

According to former Livingston High School grad, and Millburn/Short Hills resident, Roz Buck, who owns the camp with her husband Jed, “Now is the best time to begin thinking about your children’s plans for next summer. If you are considering day camp options for the summer of 2016, visiting camp now, is a great way to see the Meadowbrook fun and excitement ‘in action’ and is a great way to do your camp research.”

Meadowbrook Country Day Camp, is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited day camp, which is located on a beautiful 50-acre setting in Long Valley, just outside of Chester. Meadowbrook’s traditional day camp program services children ages 3-14.

The camp boasts a lush 50-acre wooded campus, mature/professional staff, door-to-door transportation using only air conditioned mini-buses, a unique focus on building life skills, Red Cross swim program in heated pools, kid-friendly, healthy lunch served every day, boating, mountain biking, ropes courses, exciting/creative weekly special events. Unique to Meadowbrook: all tips are included in tuition—no extra costs later on.

Activities include: Swim Instruction based on the Red Cross Skill Levels and Free Swim in a 9,000-square-foot pool complex with three heated pools, Archery, Tennis, Basketball, Softball, Soccer, Cooking, Dance, Lacrosse, Flag Football, Nature, Fishing, Newcomb, Challenge Courses, Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddle Boats and Bumper Boats on a private lake, Gymnastics, various Arts & Crafts, and Hockey, etc. There are also some unusual activities like Mountain Bikes, Mountain Boards, Ultimate Frisbee, Tapu-aie, GaGa, Handball, Speedball, Chocolate, Arcade, Bonfire Cooking, Earth Wind & Fire, Rocketry and so much more…

“Meadowbrook has been an amazing experience for my whole family,” said Jaime Lauro, of Livingston, who will be the division head of the second grade girls this summer. “This coming summer will be our third summer. When we started, my twin girls were three and my son was five. I had always gone to day camp as a child and wanted the same for my children. We toured the camp the summer of 2013. At the time, I was a stay at home mom and Jed, the owner, had suggested for me to come work at Meadowbrook.”

She added, “It couldn't have been a better fit for all of us. I love working there as much as my children love being MCDC campers. My children have become fantastic swimmers, have learned teamwork, they have learned many life skills and have made amazing friendships and memories.”

“I would suggest anyone considering summer camp to come check out Meadowbrook,” said Lauro. “You will know it's the right choice for your family as well.”

Enough already.
