WEST ORANGE, NJ  - The Annual West Orange Township Memorial Day Services will be held on Monday, May 30, 2016, beginning at 10 a.m. on the steps of Town Hall, 66 Main Street.

The West Orange High School Jr. Air Force ROTC has worked with the township to design the program, which will feature the West Orange Fire Department Color Guard, the JRAFROTC, and a Rifle Salute by the West Orange Police Department.

Commander Major Joseph Marchesini, USAF (Ret), will welcome guests and Lt. Colonel Alfred Rosu USAR (Ret) will administer the Oath of Enlistment.Deputy Mayor and Veterans Affairs Representative Ralph Panciello, VFW Post 376, will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mayor Robert Parisi will speak and township historian Joe Fagan will present the wreath dedication. 

"Keeping our nation safe is the ultimate sacrifice in keeping our country out of harm’s way and strong " said Mayor Parisi. "Today, and every day, we honor our fallen with tremendous gratitude and pride."
