WEST ORANGE, NJ - Registration for the Mountain Top League Summer Hockey Program has begun. There are two programs available. Both programs, which are being held at the Codey Arena in West Orange, will focus on the rules of the game and are supervised by West Orange High School Varsity Coach Eddie Scafidi. The “Learn to Skate” program will introduce youngsters to the basic skills and fundamentals needed to be a successful hockey player. 

This program will consist of nine sessions, with a fee of $90. Participants must bring their own skates and helmets.

The “Hockey Development” program will serve to enhance skating, passing, stick handling, shooting, pulls and defense for those players more comfortable on skates. Players will also learn the rules of the game and practice their skills in scrimmages.

This program will consist of nine sessions, with a fee of $140. Participants must bring their own full set of hockey gear.
