OSPAC in West Orange Announces Summer Solstice Kick-off June 20

WEST ORANGE, NJ -  The New Jersey Arts Incubator (NJAI) inaugural event OSPAC amphitheater in West Orange, NJ will be a Summer Solstice Celebration onJune 20, 2014.

The Summer Solstice Celebration is a gathering of regional performers and artists presenting world music, dance, drumming, arts and crafts for children and more. Food and craft vendors as well as healing practitioners will be on site at the OSPAC amphitheater set on five beautiful acres next to Crystal Lake in West Orange.  This event is $10 to the public with a portion be donated to the Holy Trinity - West Orange Food Pantry.

As the sun reaches its highest peak of midsummer and then sets in glorious splendor from the ridge of the first Watchung Mountain guests will join in a series of sun salutations and be treated to performances by special guests including the Verona-based Freespace Dance. Other performers include Mark Woods, a regionally renowned teaching circle drummer and world music musician, Celtic harpist  Odarka, The Center for Spiritual Living of North Jersey's One Voice choir, spoken word artists and much more.

Bring blankets and lawn chairs and a drum, rattle or shaker for the powerful and inspiring show finale! Instruments for children will be available for purchase.

The Summer Solstice Celebration is produced by NJAI and co-sponsored by the town of West OrangeCenter for Spiritual Living North Jersey and Inner Realm Magazine.
