WEST ORANGE, NJ — A white 1998 Ford Wagon was reported stolen on March 1 from the front of a residence on Ashland Avenue, where the victim stated that he had locked the vehicle after parking it the night before. Sometime overnight, some unknown actor(s) removed the vehicle, which was reportedly empty of any valuable possessions and was valued at $2000.

A motor vehicle stop conducted on the same date led to the arrest of Darrell Swinton, who was found to have an active warrant out of Newark after being stopped for having an unknown object hanging from the rearview mirror of his vehicle. In addition to the warrant, Swinton was found to be driving with a suspended license and in possession of drug paraphernalia—specifically a skull-shaped suspected grinder that contained an odor of marijuana and residue.

A second warrant arrest was made during a motor vehicle stop at approximately 1:05 a.m. the next morning in the area of Northfield Avenue and Wheeler Street. Gologo Dahnshaw, who was initially pulled over for obstructing both the left and right lane of traffic, was found to be driving while suspended with numerous outstanding warrants out of numerous agencies—including Sayerville ($648), Mendham ($500), Branchburg ($500) and two out of Orange ($67 and $72).
