Projected West Orange Township Council Results are In

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Election officials have reported 36 out of the 37 districts for 97.30 percent of the total votes counted. Residents have chosen three candidates for the West Orange Township Council at Large.

Jerry Guarino is the projected winner of one of three open seats for council with 7,305 votes (20.73 percent of the 27,070 total votes).

Joe Krakoviak is projected to come in close second with a total of 6,562 votes (18.62 percent of the total).

Michelle Casalino is predicted to win the third seat on the council with 6,496 reported votes (18.44 percent of the total).

Monica Perkowski had 4,661 votes (13.23 percent of the total).

Akil Khalfani had 4,783 votes (13.57 percent of the total).

Susan Scarpa had 5,370 votes (15.24 percent of the total).
