Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my strong support for Sandra Mordecai, in her re-election bid for the West Orange Board of Education.
I have attended a number of Board of Education meetings. I am sure from what I've seen and heard from Ms. Mordecai that she has the commitment to our children, doing her research, asking thorough questions, respectfully acknowledging the concerns of the parents attending meetings, and putting the interest of all our children first.
I have reached out to her regarding school issues and found her to be compassionate, responsive, inclusive and helpful.
I feel we need her independent, educated voice on our board. I strongly urge the citizens of West Orange to consider her when voting on November 8th.
