WEST ORANGE, NJ – Jewish Family Service of MetroWest is seeking volunteers 55 and older to read to students at Washington Elementary School for one hour each week.

Senior citizens spent the 2016-17 school year reading to students at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School and the program was so popular that the roster is already almost full for the coming year. Read more about the Mt. Pleasant Reading Buddies program here.

“Our volunteers love going to Mt. Pleasant,” said Stephanie Grove, director of retired & senior volunteer program center for Essex and Hudson Counties.
