Breast cancer is a disease that devastates families - striking regardless of color, age, whether rich or poor.
It doesn't play favorites and early detection and treatment are key for both women and men.

But did you know Jewish families are at an increased risk of both inherited Breast and Ovarian cancers?

Modern medicine has brought us near miracles. It's also brought us some of the most difficult decisions we'll ever have to face. Are we obliged to prolong life even at the cost of terrible suffering? Should we legalize the sale of organs, such as kidneys, to save the lives of transplant patients? May a woman with a multiple-fetus pregnancy opt for fetal reduction, thus forfeiting the lives of some to possibly save others? When it seems that every available option is morally questionable, how do we decide?

WEST ORANGE, NJ - Join Chabad of West Orange for a six-week course beginning Monday, Oct.28 (additional Mondays include Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25 and Dec. 2 as we discuss medical ethics and issues.

Extra Time

It was close to 70 minutes into the match and I had to go to the bathroom.  Badly.

As fans watching the World Cup know too well, bathroom breaks are a serious dilemma, especially for those who don’t have a TV in the loo.  This biological necessity is exasperated by beer, which during World Cup matches also fuels a strong propensity to throw chairs and instigate riots.
