CALDWELL, NJ — The Red Light Band, a Livingston-based jam band, is set to perform at Ringside Pub in Caldwell on Saturday, May 13. Known for its musical improvisations and potent guitar riffs, the band will perform classic rock favorites from The Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton, Phish, Pink Floyd and others.
Featuring Marco Anzalone and Matt Sternthal on guitar, Adam Bird on bass, Brian Maloof on the keyboard, Eric Lemieux on drums and vocalist Mike Brodsky, this is one of many shows The Red Light Band has performed at the Essex County music venue.
Opening for the band is Treehouse Mania, a musical group comprised of Livingston and West Orange 10-year-olds. These youngsters include Ayan Chaudhuri and Andrew Rubinstein on guitar; Jack Katz on bass, Jake Popkin on drums, and Brandon Sternthal on keyboard. All perform vocals on contemporary and classic covers.
As part of their debut performance, Treehouse Mania will be selling T-shirts at the show to raise money for Livingston’s Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a local charity which provides short-term emergency financial assistance and a variety of in-kind support including meal donations, fresh produce, secondhand clothing and grocery store gift cards to residents in need. The organization also oversees the town’s local food pantry, C.H.O.W.
