WEST ORANGE, NJ - The Downtown West Orange Alliance Street Fair drew thousands of residents and visitors to downtown West Orange this afternoon.  Vendors, crafters, and , including WCBS 101 and WDHA 105.5.  Information was available on, West Orange Cares, a bird sanctuary, and more.There were inflatable rides for the children, and a DJ featuring a Michael Jackson impersonator/dancer.

The weather was perfect for walking along Main Street, which was closed off between Mt. Pleasant and Northfield Avenues. The Street Fair is considered to be the official start of the summer season in West Orange, along with the opening of the Ginny Duenkel Pool.
