WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange residents can now visit the Montclair Art Museum for free--thanks to the generous donation of two Membership Passes to the West Orange Public Library (WOPL) by the West Orange Arts Council.

On February 6, the West Orange Arts Council presented the two Montclair Art Museum Memberships to the library for use by residents over the coming year.

According to Catherine LaBelle of the WOPL, the museum passes will be able to be reserved by WOPL patrons who will be able to check them out for a few days. Each pass will allow two adults and all children under the age of 18 to visit the Montclair Art Museum at no charge. They will also be able to save 10% in the Museum Store.

"We're thrilled that the West Orange Arts Council has so generously donated this membership to us," said LaBelle.

"We're very excited about this because it's something that a lot of libraries are now doing and we're glad to join them," she explained. "It should allow people to visit a wonderful local museum and show patrons that the library is a cultural institution with more to offer than just books."

The Montclair Art Museum is currently celebrating its100th Anniversary with special events and exhibits planned.

To find out more about the program, visit the West Orange Public Library website, email Catherine LaBelle at clabelle@westorangelibrary.org or call the Library at 973-736-0198.

Extra Time

It was close to 70 minutes into the match and I had to go to the bathroom.  Badly.

As fans watching the World Cup know too well, bathroom breaks are a serious dilemma, especially for those who don’t have a TV in the loo.  This biological necessity is exasperated by beer, which during World Cup matches also fuels a strong propensity to throw chairs and instigate riots.
