WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange Arts Council (WOAC) members Amelia Panico and Carol Black Lemon recently announced upcoming WOAC exhibits, including one that currently features West Orange High School Advanced Placement student artists.

WOAC member Aaliyah K., a student at Liberty Middle School (LMS), spoke at Tuesday’s council meeting about founding Nature’s Pout, which features skin care and beauty products free of dangerous chemicals.

WOAC member and LMS student Angelyn Cancel also spoke about her founding of Rockwear Jewelry, and urges other students to become entrepreneurs if they have a good idea for a business.

Mother's Day Shopping Boutique

Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6

1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, WOAC invites the public to find unique one-of-a-kind gifts for the special ladies in their lies. This two-day pop-up boutique features handmade jewelry, cards, clothing, all-natural skin products and home items created and designed by local artists.
