WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange boys’ soccer shutout Memorial at home on Thursday, 4-0, improving its unbeaten record to (9-0).

Once West Orange was ahead, 1-0, at the close of the first quarter, the Mountaineers’ not only maintained their lead in the second quarter, but added three more goals—ultimately shutting out the Tigers from West New York, NJ, 4-0.

Pancho Pozzolli scored two of West Orange’s four goals, while Ricardo Carias and Kamsi Udodi scored the other two. Zach Ames had two assists and Zach Brown and Dillon Reitberger had one apiece.

The Mountaineers’ Diego Pedrito had five saves in goal, and the team made 14 shots on Memorial’s goal.

West Orange next plays on the road at Seton Hall Prep (9-0-2) on Oct. 5, at 4 p.m.
