Brittany Chiles, Executive Director of the Chamber, said this year’s quarterly business meetings come with a new twist in collaboration with its Biz 2.0 Series: workshops for growing businesses.

“In addition to a Members-Only discussion of Chamber news and networking, attendees have the opportunity to then learn from subject matter experts in the areas of Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Branding, Business Growth Strategies and more,” she said.

The Biz 2.0 training directly following the Member Meeting on March 2nd will feature chamber member Michael Pilla of Pilla Creative Marketing. Pilla will discuss marketing and branding, sharing techniques on how he makes clients “local celebrities” in their industries.

West Orange Resident Arnie Amir, a newly appointed board member of the chamber and the president of Growth Point Business Consulting, began the Biz 2.0 Series in spring of 2016 as a way to collaborate with local businesses professionals and grow his network. As a member himself, Amir shared his idea with the West Orange Chamber leadership as an invitation to get involved.

With increasing response and attendance in its first year, the Biz 2.0 continues to partner with the WOPL, WOCC and subject matter experts to provide free, valuable content to business owners and entrepreneurs every first Thursday of the month, according to Chiles.

“All members are highly encouraged to attend all member events,” said Tim Brennan, the chamber’s 2017 president. “This is where familiar relationships are formed to make way for referrals that grow your business.”

Chamber Member Meetings for 2017 sponsored by 2016 Business of the Year Recipient, Regal Bank, which has shown continuous dedication in partnering with the chamber to serve and improve the West Orange business community.
