CALDWELL, NJ — The Borough of Caldwell recently celebrated the grand opening of Krafty Hair Kreation Studio, located at 487 Bloomfield Avenue, with a ceremonious ribbon cutting.

Owner Ron Recchia, a West Orange native and current resident of Ledgewood, was thrilled to welcome Caldwell Mayor Ann Dassing and other local leaders to the grand opening event.

“I want to create a unique salon experience and focus on the client’s individual needs and wants while paying attention to the small details and offering the best quality that we can give,” said Recchia. “We love what we do and we just want to do what we love.”

Recchia spoke highly of his salon staff members, stating that they all love what they do and are enthusiastic about the new clientele in the Caldwell area. He said their collective goal is to create a relaxing atmosphere and to have each individual client leave the salon with a smile.

“We love transforming a client’s look and seeing the smile on their faces,” said Recchia. “They feel amazing, relaxed and satisfied with the style they have always wanted.”

Recchia, a hairdresser for more than 30 years, previously managed a salon located in a Wayne-based Sears for 20 years. He said the instability he felt at Sears left him wondering where to go next.

“I kind of looked around locally and didn’t find anything that fit me, so when I saw this location come up, I gave it a shot and decided to restart my clientele over here,” he said.

Today, Recchia is excited to bring his expertise to Essex County and is looking forward to meeting new clients.
