WEST ORANGE, NJ — Two West Orange parents—Randy Nathan, a life coach for teens, and Adam D. Shandler, a Livingston native who leads corporate training—are celebrating suburban dad life through their “Bad to the Dad Podcast,” which will now be available weekly to TAPinto West Orange readers through a recently launched feature column.

These are the dads who coach, carpool, volunteer and fulfill the moral obligation of embarrassing their kids when necessary. Episodes will be published once a week for every week that the dads are in season.

"Coach Randy and I have been learning a lot about dads through these episodes, without taking any of this too seriously,” said Shandler. “We love the variety of guests we have on and their take on the art form of being a dad. Every episode has something for everyone, regardless of the listener's interests. And we're always looking for new and interesting guests!”

Shandler and Nathan recently welcomed Livingston dad Greg Feig, who is competing in a boxing match called Haymakers for Hope to raise money and awareness for cancer research. In the past year, his 12-year-old daughter, Jolie, fought and won her battle with leukemia.

Next up on “Bad to the Dad,” father-and-daughter West Orange residents Matt and Riley Hahn perform their guitar cover of "Shallow" from the movie “A Star is Born.”
