WEST ORANGE, NJ — A 2019 Toyota RAV4 stolen from an address on Roosevelt Avenue Oct. 21 was recovered later the same day in Newark.

According to West Orange police, the vehicle was stolen sometime between 4:18 a.m. and 5:26 a.m. from the owner's driveway.

The vehicle had been left unlocked, and the key fob was left in the middle console department. Police say the SUV was located at the corner of Manchester Place and Lake Street in Newark.

In another case, sometime between late night on Oct. 21 and early the next morning, tires and rims were stolen from a 2020 Honda Accord parked near Main Street. It was parked in a lot facing Main Street, and the rotors were found left on the pavement nearby. The sport rims were valued at $500 each and the Michelin tires at $250 each.

On Oct. 22, in another case, a black iPhone 6 was reported stolen from a 2019 Nissan Rogue parked on Glenview Drive shortly before 9 a.m. that day.

A package was reported stolen on Oct. 19 from a front porch on Pillott Place. The package contained a Dodge Challenger OEM radio delivered by the Post Office.

All the above cases remain under investigation.
