WEST ORANGE, NJ - Three members of the West Orange softball team have been named to the Super Essex Conference All-Colonial Division First Team for 2018.

Nahtali Simpson, Erin Vermeal and Andreyah Ageday are all members of the First Team. Simpson hit seven home runs and drove in 45 runs, both team-leading totals. She finished with 18 extra-base hits, batted .506 and stole 14 bases for the Mountaineers (16-12), who finished in first place in the Colonial Division.

Vermeal batted .500, scored 34 runs and had 24 RBI. She hit 13 extra-base hits, including eight doubles. Vermeal also paced the team with 21 stolen bases.

Ageday knocked in 27 runs, scored 19 runs, rapped seven doubles, finished with 36 hits and batted .450.

West Orange placed three players on Second Team: Sophia Scholz, Siena Pizzano and Danielle Fastiggi. Scholz had a 12-8 pitching record and walked just 22 batters in 120 innings.Pizzano batted .348 with 26 RBI. Fastiggi scored 24 runs and knocked in 20 runs. 

Meghan White, who batted .357, was given honorable mention on the All-Colonial Division Team.
