The Wharton Club of New Jersey (WCNJ) and the Penn Law Northern New Jersey Alumni Club will host “Getting More:  How You Can Negotiate to Succeed in Work and Life” May 12, 6:00 p.m., at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ.
University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Professor Stuart Diamond will take a chapter from his current New York Times bestseller, “Getting More,” and show attendees how to define and meet their goals through negotiation across all areas of life.  Diamond’s advice:  ignore the tactics and clichés of “win-win” and “bargaining range” negotiation manuals, take a personal approach and understand what the other person is thinking.
Cost to attend the event, which is open to the public and includes a buffet dinner, wine, beer and cocktails and an autographed copy of Diamond’s book, is tiered starting at $70 for WCNJ members and Penn Law alumni.  Early registration discount ends April 30.
Registration and more information are available on the WCNJ website at
