LIVINGSTON, NJ -- The West Orange wrestling team trailed by three points with one match to go and came back for a 33-30 victory over Livingston in the quarterfinal round of the Section 1, Group 5 state tournament Monday night.
West Orange, the sixth seed, will move on to wrestle second-seeded Clifton on the road Wednesday in the sectional semifinals. Livingston was seeded third. Clifton defeated Hackensack, 58-15, in the quarterfinal round.
Just five days before this match, Livingston had defeated West Orange, 41-24, in a regular-season match.
