New Eyes for the Needy Resale Shop Summer Sunglasses Sidewalk Sale on June 12 

The New Eyes for the Needy Fabulous Finds Resale Shop will host a sidewalk sale on Saturday, June 12 from10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at 549 Millburn Ave., Short Hills.  

Closed for the past year, inventory of new and gently used designer sunglasses and jewelry will be sold at low prices. Proceeds from the sale will fund prescription glasses for children and adults that are financially challenged.

New Eyes Executive Director, Jean Gajano, said, “It is an annual event for our customers to stock up on designer sunglasses at our June sale. You can’t find designer sunglasses for only $20! We also have a wide selection of nice jewelry, all priced at just $2, perfect for summer outings. Many people have been asking about this sale, and we are happy to finally be able to open safely outside and to use the proceeds to purchase prescription glasses for those in need.”

In anticipation of this sale, New Eyes will gratefully accept donations of fine, vintage and costume jewelry along with gently-used designer sunglasses. These items can be dropped off at New Eyes, Monday to Thursday 9:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. or placed in the door slot next to the parking lot.
