Walk to Cure Arthritis New Jersey

For 70 years, in ONE community after another across the country, The Arthritis Foundation has taken colossal steps to conquer this crippling disease. Our Walk to Cure Arthritis is the largest arthritis gathering in the world, celebrating our warriors, raising funds for research, resources and a cure. Much more than just a walk event, it’s something even bigger than arthritis itself.

Arthritis affects more than 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children. They are warriors. They face relentless pain, a frustrating search for a diagnosis, multiple doctor’s visits and treatment, missed work and school, limited mobility, a maze of medical and insurance paperwork, and the desire to live a full life without the limitations that arthritis can create.

The Walk to Cure Arthritis will be taking place on Saturday, May 5th at Clipper Pavilion in West Orange.  We will be honoring Robert Garrett, co-CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health as our Corporate Honoree.  Registration opens at 7:30am and the Walk starts at 9:00am.

Whether you’re an arthritis warrior yourself or care about someone who is, sign up and WALK to CURE Arthritis. You can register only at www.walktocurearthritis.org

Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man Kid

I am an artist.  It says so on my T-shirt.

My colorful shirt, which significantly inflates my position in life, confers great status.  For one, it announces that I am a musical performer at the up and coming Montclair Jazz Festival.  This separates me from the thousands of other festival goers who only get to enjoy a great day of music, not play it.

More importantly, ...
