West Orange Rotary to Host 14th Annual “Taste of the World” Fundraiser

West Orange Rotary Club will hold its largest annual fundraiser, “A Taste of the World,” on Feb. 26 at Mayfair Farms, 481 Eagle Rock Avenue, West Orange, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The event brings together several of the premier area restaurants that offer a sampling menu of culinary appetizers, entrees and desserts. Beer, wine and spirits tastings will also be available.

The West Orange Rotary is a long-time local service organization that provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors and funds for medical assistance worldwide. The organization supports both the township and school district in many ways, including distributing dictionaries each year to all third grade students in the public schools.

 

In addition to food and beverage samplings, the event will include raffles, prizes and live entertainment. Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door.

Millburn's Peter Serruto Drafted by Cincinnati Reds

MILLBURN, NJ - Peter Serruto, who just completed his senior season at Millburn High School, was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 22d round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft on Wednesday.

Serruto was the 649th pick overall.
