WEST ORANGE, NJ — The annual Mid-Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) Color Guard Competition, recently held at West Orange High School (WOHS), dazzled the crowds with athletic dance routines and featured the first-ever West Orange High School Adaptive Color Guard.

The new program was developed by WOHS color guard members Sophia Cordoba, Julia Giovine, Brielle Hunter, Melanie Maciejak, Chloe Megden, Abigail Oliver and Kiley Smith; and WOHS teachers Mallory DeMarco, Michelle Hartley and Matthew Pouy served as advisors.

The Adaptive Color Guard, WOHS Junior Varsity (program: "The Witching Hour), and Varsity Color Guards (program: "Behind the Mask") performed in exhibition as the hosts of the competition. WOHS seniors Julia Giovine, Melanie Maciejak, Jhianna Sutton were recognized for their participation and commitment in the Color Guard.
