WEST ORANGE, NJ — In addition to offering access to remote materials such as books, audiobooks, movies and more, the West Orange Public Library (WOPL) is also assisting local senior citizens who do not have access to the Internet by offering to purchase and deliver new, clean books to their homes.

To request assistance in purchasing a new book, residents should call the WOPL Senior Services Department at 973-736-0198, select “reference” at the prompt and leave a message describing the kind of books they are interested in reading. While adhering to all recommended COVID-19 precautions, a librarian will match the caller up to a clean, unused book.

Residents looking to access online resources should send their requests via Email to ref@westorangelibrary.org along with their first and last name, address and phone number.
