LIVINGSTON, NJ — Two members of Levine, Jacobs & Company, LLC—Michael H. Karu, CPA/CFF, and Richard M. Hoffman, CPA/CGMA—were recently featured on “The Doctor Joy Show,” where they had a wide-ranging conversation on taxes in New Jersey and some recent changes in the new tax laws.
According to Karu, many people were caught off guard when they received their refunds.
“What people are seeing is really a reduction of tax withholding,” said Karu. “We tell our clients that taxes change every time Congress meets. This really is nothing new.”
Based on client needs, Hoffman highlights the firm’s ability to provide substantial support for a range of issues and concerns.
“We can help them to plan for minimizing their taxes and taking advantage of certain new tax laws,” he said.
