WEST ORANGE, NJ – The Goddard School of West Orange, located at 303 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, is hosting a "How to Pay for College Seminar" for local parents on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Owner and director Nicole Harrison’s goal is to not only provide an early educational start for her students, but also to create a holistic environment for families to get additional resources that will enhance parents’ child-rearing years.
“We have recently paired up with a team of local financial coaches that will help parents learn about financial concepts that impact nearly every person raising a child,” said Harrison. “Having four children myself, I understand that planning for each child’s future must be done with care and with the right information.”
During this free workshop, parents will leave knowing the following:
- The difference between a Coverdell, 529 Plan & UTMA – What option is best for me and my child?
- The difference between a parent asset and a child asset? Why does it matter?
- The right time to start saving
The newly opened Goddard School of West Orange uses the most current, academically endorsed methods to ensure that children have fun while learning the skills they need for long-term success in school and in life.
