Walk-In Vaccination Appointments Now Available at Two Essex County Sites

NEWARK, NJ — Two Essex County Vaccination Centers, including Kmart at 235 Prospect Avenue in West Orange and Essex County College at 177 West Market Street in Newark, are now open for walk-in appointments from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday to anyone who resides, works or attends school in Essex County.

Latest COVID-19 Essex County Statistics Show Slight Improvement

The latest COVID-19 statistics show that the number of cases is slowly decreasing.

A little more than 3 million New Jerseyans are now fully vaccinated, which is almost half of the 6.9 million adults. The state's objective is to vaccinate 70%, or 4.7 million, residents by June 30. 

Another 4.2 million (61%) NJ residents have had one vaccine.

1,000 Frozen Turkeys and More to Be Distributed at Holiday Emergency Food Distribution
