WEST ORANGE, NJ — Nearly 40 vendors from the West Orange area will be on hand during a special event being held on Saturday at the West Orange Farmer's Market, located at 80 Main Street.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., residents are invited to celebrate National Eat Outside Day with their local farmer’s market, which will offer New Jersey produce as well as stuffed burgers, hotdogs, smoked meats, vegan food, mexican food, empanadas, baked goods, italian sausage, pies, chimney cake, biscotti, artisanal ice cream, hot sauce, exotic NJ raised meat and more.
Gift cards from local favorites such as Mark and Julies Ice Cream, Jimmy Buffs, Ambrosia and Willow and Olivia Creations will be raffled off during the event.
The West Orange Farmer’s Market returned this spring after a three-year hiatus thanks to resident Stacey Reese. Typically open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the market will remain open until Nov. 2.
