WEST ORANGE, NJ — Members of the West Orange Senior Garden Club gathered this week for lunch at the Toby Katz Center at Degnan Park for the first annual Harvest Garden Festival Luncheon.
Among the many salads served were vegetables and herbs grown on the premises in the community garden under the guidance of Rutgers University Master Gardeners, who have been integral to their success. The Nicholas Vecchio Memorial Garden, dedicated several years ago, honors the late president of the UNICO Club..
