WEST ORANGE, NJ — Monica Nieves, a West Orange resident of more than 20 years, recently sought and gained permission to voluntarily place a sign across the front lawn at West Orange Town Hall that reads, “WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER.”
“It was the best way to reach people in the community with a positive message at a time when we need it,” said Nieves. “It will remain displayed for an unspecified period of time.”
According to the township, this signage will also serve as a reminder of the importance of maintaining social-distancing practices currently in place by Gov. Phil Murphy’s executive orders.
