NEW YORK, NY - The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that temperatures will continue to drop and remain below freezing into Monday, producing a condition called "Black Ice" where the roads may appear to be wet but are actually frozen. This could result in motorists losing traction, NWS states. 

Monday is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 15 degrees, but the temperature is expected to drop into the single digits Monday night. On Tuesday, NWS expects sunny weater with a high near 28.
