WEST ORANGE, NJ – Known for its Annual Self-Defense & Safety Seminar, martial arts organization Mobile1KravMaga is coming back to West Orange to host a “Self Defense Summer” at RetroFitness located at 235 Prospect Ave.
Throughout the month of August 2019 on Mondays and Saturdays, Denis Watson—U.S. Ambassador to the Krav Maga Federation and a certified level four black belt in the Israeli Self-Defense System—will be teaching participants a variety of basic defensive and offensive techniques including punching and kicking, how to escape from grabs and chokes, and knife and gun disarmament.
According to the Mobile1KravMaga website, Krav Maga is good for relieving stress, improving one’s physical well-being as well as self-confidence and it allows individuals to have heightened awareness of one’s surroundings.
Sessions will be held on Mondays, beginning on Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., and Saturdays beginning Aug. 10 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Each session, which will cost $20, is open to men and women ages 15 and older and no prior experience is necessary. Click HERE to register for Self Defense Summer at RetroFitness.
