WEST ORANGE, NJ -- A fire that damaged two buses and a recreational vehicle in a bus storage parking lot Thursday night is under investigation.

According to West Orange spokesman Joe Fagan, the West Orange Fire Department was dispatched at 9:48 p.m. to a vehicle fire at the corner of Lakeside and Ashland avenues, the site of a lot where buses are stored when they are not in use. Two engines were present to battle a fully involved RV along with a nearby commercial charter bus that caught fire. There was also minor damage to a privately owned yellow school bus due to radiant heat.

No injuries were reported. The property was turned back over to the business owner around 2 a.m. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, Fagan said.
