WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Fire Department responded early Monday afternoon to a report of a smoke condition and possible structure fire on Woodside Terrace.

Crews reported heavy smoke and located a small fire in a second-floor bedroom of the single-family Colonial dwelling.

According to authorities, all residents had self-evacuated and there were no reported injuries to emergency personnel or civilians. The fire, which broke out sometime after 1 p.m., remains under investigation right now.

The house should be habitable, the fire department reported, as there was only a limited amount of fire and suppression damage to the structure.
