WEST ORANGE, NJ — Construction is almost complete at the multi-family residential development between Valley Road and South Jefferson Street in West Orange, according to township officials who attended a topping-off ceremony on Friday to commemorate the completion of the roof over the main frame of the structure.
The construction of the 100-unit, $29 million project began in August 2018 and is expected to be complete by year’s end. The four-story apartment building, located in the Valley Arts district of West Orange, is situated across from the recently completed Harvard Printing Apartments in Orange.
Mayor Robert Parisi has previously described the historic location as “one of West Orange’s oldest and most cherished communities" and has been looking forward to seeing its resurgence.
