PATERSON, NJ -- Paterson Kennedy pulled away in the fourth quarter to close out a 67-50 boys basketball victory over West Orange in the first round of the Section 1, Group 4 state tournament Tuesday night.

Deishon Harrison scored 21 points for Paterson Kennedy (24-3), which led, 48-43, after three quarters before finishing the game on a 19-7 run.

Micah Moore scored 13 points and Gustav Hall finished with 12 points for West Orange (9-17), which fell behind, 13-3, after one quarter before coming back with a 23-point second quarter to cut the JFK lead to four by halftime. Maxwell Dent and Johan Atwell each had eight points for the Mountaineers.
