WEST ORANGE, NJ -- The West Orange boys basketball team established a 12-point lead after one quarter and went on to a 56-49 victory over Bloomfield Thursday night.

Gustav Hall and Ismail Kamara Taylor each scored 12 points for the Mountaineers (8-15), who led, 30-15, at halftime.

Johan Atwell and Micah Moore each connected for 11 points for West Orange in a game largely free of fouls. Bloomfield (11-12) had just two points from the foul line, and West Orange made only one free throw in the game.
