WEST ORANGE, NJ -- Balanced scoring and tough team defense helped bring the West Orange boys basketball team a 50-37 victory over University High School on Tuesday.

Leading by four points after three quarters, the Mountaineers (2-3) outscored University, 19-9, in the final quarter to put an exclamation point on a victory in which no West Orange player scored more than eight points, but one in which nine different players scored.

Elijah Millington and Gustav Hall each scored eight points for West Orange. Micah Moore finished with seven points, and Ismail Kamara Taylor grabbed seven rebounds to go with six points.
