WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange boys soccer team stayed hot and got a hat trick from Kalleo Mendes en route to a 5-0 victory over Verona on Wednesday.

Mendes finished with three goals and one assist for West Orange (8-3-1).  Brian Merlos scored one goal and passed for one assist, and freshman Ari Rosu scored his first career varsity goal in the win.

Tyreke Wray, Zach Dong and Jaihid Sawyers also contributed assists for the Mountaineers, who outshot Verona, 15-7.. AJ Petrucci and Matt Kotowski combined for seven saves in the shutout.
