WEST ORANGE, NJ -- The West Orange girls basketball team held Payne Tech without a field goal in the third quarter to take control of the game en route to a 49-35 victory on Thursday.

Mackenzie Dover scored 16 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out three assists for the Mountaineers (6-10), who outscored Payne Tech, 14-1, in the third quarter to open a 40-25 lead.

Kiley Capstraw scored a team-high 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and Natalie Nevins scored eight points, made three steals and handed out two assists for West Orange, which had a 26-24 halftime lead.
