WEST ORANGE, NJ - The West Orange High School girls tennis team last week won the Super Essex Conference Liberty Division championship, clinching the title with a 3-2 victory over Mt. St. Dominic.

Nneka Arinzeh, Sophia Ruggiero and the team of Funke Oshodi and Johanna Jaeger won their matches.

Arinzeh, a junior, was also the Essex County singles champion this fall and placed among the top 32 players in New Jersey.

"We advanced to the second round of the Essex County Tournament and states," said head coach Jeff Mazurek. "It has been a very successful season for West Orange girls tennis."
