WEST ORANGE, NJ -- West Orange pulled away with two unanswered goals in the third period to close out a 4-1 ice hockey victory over Bayonne at Codey Arena on Saturday.

Daniel DeRonde scored two goals for the Mountaineers, who had a 2-0 lead after one period. West Orange led, 2-1, after two periods.

Joseph Nalieth scored one goal and assisted on two, and Lucio Maffei scored a goal for West Orange, which got 19 saves from Julian Melendez. Billy Mauer scored with an assist by Anthony O'Brien in the second period for Bayonne, which got 24 saves from Shawn Agosto.
